What:"EAT-SLEEP-ROW-REPEAT" - Our primary focus will be on skills as a final chance to calibrate technique before we launch into the spring sprint season. A sample day in the life at camp:
6:00a - Breakfast snack – Dining Hall
6:30–9:30a - On-water rowing session
10:00a - Brunch – Dining Hall, video analysis, team meetings
12:00-2:00p - Row
2:00-3:00p - Afternoon snack – Dining Hall, homework time, rest
3:00-5:00p - On-water rowing session
6:00p Dinner – Dining Hall
7:00-9:30p - Organized camp team games
10:00p - Rowers return to cabin
Room check, lights out
Boat mix will be dependent on attendance.
The facilities are quiet and secluded in a natural setting. They’re basic single gender dorms, with meals in the dining hall. Athletes will be steps from everything they need - no time wasted shuttling around in vans.
How: Van transportation down and back. It is a full day's drive. Head Coach Dave Bender wil be in charge of coaching & instructional detail, Nancy Paulsen will chaperone. Additional vans, coaching, & chaperones may be added pending final head count.
Total price is $845.00
Commitment deposit of $445.00 is due on Fri 14 Dec. Remaining 2 payments of $200.00 are each due on Fri 11 Jan and Mon 11 Feb.
Payment is commitment and refundable only if the Club cancels the trip (or other special circumstance).
Please note that we need a minimum of 12 athletes to make the trip. Register and pay so we have a spot for your athlete, and the sooner we have 12 PAID DEPOSITS, the sooner we will be able to confirm the trip arrangements!
